Choose from 5 levels; each workshop lasts one hour and a half  with  Carolina Jaurena; Mariano Navone , Anton Gazenbeek, and  Annatina Luck

Price per workshop is $25

· Absolute Beginner   This class is suitable for those who have never danced Argentine Tango. Students will learn Tango fundamentals, such as walking, weight changes and rock steps. 

· Advanced Beginner  This class is for those who know the basic elements of Argentine tango. Students will learn basic lead and follow patterns and will improve their balance and connection with their partner.

· Woman’s Technique Some tango experience is required for this class. You will work on general exercises for balance, control, coordination, molinetes and adornos. Women only

· Man’s Leading & Technique   Men will learn how to lead comfortably and clearly. Also, improve posture, weight transfer, walk and the embrace. Men only.

· Intermediate   This class builds on the mechanics of the dance and introduces more challenging concepts like giros, barridas, and sacadas.  Students must be comfortable with all the tango fundamentals.  One couple from this class will be chosen by the dance teachers to dance at our Tango Show at Lisner Auditorium on Saturday, April 5 at 8 PM

· Musicality Workshop Special 2 hour session with Octavio Brunetti—$40 (Friday at 6:00 PM)This Workshop will help you gain a better understanding of the structure and concepts of Tango music!  In this workshop, professional Tango musician Octavio Brunetti will help you to understand the concepts of Tango music, expand your awareness, learn how to listen to the music and explore the varieties of rhythms. His way of teaching is very clear and easy to understand. Together with Tango teacher’s Annatina & Mariano, they will lead you from the theory of the music to the practice on the dance floor. An absolute must for all passionate Tango Dancer who want to enrich their dancing    In this Workshop you will learn to use the music as a tool to connect with your partner. We will focus on various elements,such as syncopation, silence, phrasing, matisse, and how these elements are interpreted differently in each orchestra and era (30-40’s and 40-60’s) We will talk about how and when to let the follower speak, and ladies you will develop more musical and stylish embellishments. Become friends with the music and play the instruments with your feet, using the music in your favor so your dancing will become more dynamic, creative, sophisticated and you will be able to add your own personal style.         Live examples on the Piano, special developed, playful exercises and more tricks and treats will make these workshops a fun and meaningful experience for all levels!
